do the people from iraq have any serious ways of how to handle what is going on?
please answer intelligently! as time goes on all countries are facing terrorism of some sort. if we want generations to continue we must come up with a plan to deal, not solve every crisis.in america it seems politics and big businesses are the only concern higher ups care about. what about we the people. i think maybe if we could listen to people from iraq living here we might be able to come up with something not just the oil issue. i know i'am living in a dream world but i'am afraid of the future

Homelessness and failed democracy (anarchy now) runs rampant throughout Iraq. The Bush administration is criminally improvident, and it will be blatantly displayed to any informed individual as the days pass by.

the UN needs a renewal - and the Kurds should be given their own country to run as an example for others to follow or ignore as they choose

Honestly...from working here in Iraq for the last 3 years, It appears that the only concern of the men attempting to run the "new governemnt" of Iraq are only concerned with who will have the power and the money. It is very important to understand that there never has been a "democracy" in the middle east and the idea is, realisticly, impossible at the current time of the world. Most of the people here in the middle east wouldnt know what to do with a democracy and dont want it. Have no illusions....mentally the arabs as a whole here are still at least 500 years behind in their way of thinking in relation to the rest of the world. Im not saying that to be mean or racist. Just is the fact. The middle east just became involved with the modern world less that 60 years ago....and are trying frantically to catch up....but financially only. It seems to be the general arab understanding here amongst rulers that if you have the money....you make the rules and you have a world voice. True in some respects...but in the respect of human life where it matters as far as intelligent decisions?....They are at a serious disadvantage. Education in the ways of international relations and thinking of people outside your own backyard has not been introduced to the middle east yet. The entire Iraq war is a great dishonor to a great many groups of people. Living here as an american, and proud to be an american, I carry my share of appologetic feelings as well just walking the streets. Trust me....there are at least 100 very wealthy arabs just waiting to take over the country as soon as the americans leave. Which, when that happens, will make the entire war effort and all the men and women that have died here, seem worthless.
