I want to know how bad the circumstances in the army are. Or is it fun traveling to Iraq and living amongst a new culture? Is the army worse than jail?

They are put in the hell by the president Bush..everything seems bloody there...

WHATEVER LILLIA!!!Only if your a marine, the marines always get the bad living conditions, they get the hot tents with no air conditioning, the army, if they are out in the sand castle or the sand dune will get to take a required nap and get air conditioned tents and their equipment they work in is air conditioned. If they work on a base, they might be in a warehouse that may or may not have air conditioning, but the work area has air. The jarines usually ride in HMV's that have no air either and I feel so sorry for those poor men, everything in their tents is usually covered in dust to. As fun, their is no drinking but if you are on a base, MWR will make sure you enjoy every holiday, and their is usually internet use and maybe two fastfood joints around, also if it is safe, you can go out and taste the nations food or buy the goods or suvineers of the country, and sometimes help the poor people of the country, I always enjoyed that, getting shoes and pencils and notepads and other things for the poor people of Iraq.

A trip to Iraq is not fun, and living amongst the culture is dangerous, Conditions in Iraq will be determined by where you are stationed. In combat areas, it could appear to be worse than jail...but here the other inmates are looking out for you. My 20 years and 12 days in the Army were some of the best years of my life. Be sure to apply for training in a job that you would like, don't take whatever the recruiter is pushing. I was in electronic repair and had an actual job to do every day. Unless the infantry is in a combat zone, they train every day. It's easier to work at a job, continuity, more steady hours ( I worked fewer week ends) than most, and had time to go to college at night...Oh! I spent very little time in the field sleeping in tents.

Well lets see you have abunch of guy shooting at you, firing RPG's at you, and lets see they are trying to blow up you new SUV while you are picking up Ninja chicks heading to the beach playing dodge the the idiot trying to get his 72 virgins by straping TNT to his ASS and trying to plow you up.
