we are fighting the war in Iraq because Saddam Hussein was beginning to trade oil in the Euro instead of petro dollars, we went to war to stop him from ruining our economy and causing the greatest depression this nation has ever seen or dreamed of.

we aren't fighting the people of Iraq, we are fight the people that would kill you and your whoel family if they had the chance. we are fighting people that have no heart, people that use women and children as human shields. we are fighting those who say that if you aren't their particular brand of muslim, you are worthless and should be killed. those are the people we are fighting. if they are american, iraqi, iranian, syrain, palestinian, european, asian, it doesn't matter. also there is no civil war yet. we are fighting to stop it. if we pulled out of iraq now, all other nations would see us as spinless and cowardly. also if we aren't there to help the IRAQIs set up there government, it will be to weak and will be over thrown by another brutal dictatorship, one that will use iraq as a base for terrorist activity.

THe war in Iraq is unnecessary .... It was all politics created by Bush .... Bush wanted the weapons and the oil tanks of Iraq and he created this war.... He used all the money we give as taxes on the war and did nothing for the needy people here.... HE will have to pay for killing the innocent people .... GOD's stick has no voice!!

The reason is that people in Iraq, and similar countries have fought over religion for thousands of years; no one is ever going to change that. As for the continuous presence of US Forces overseas, that is Mr. GW and his "Skull & Bones" clan. He is merely picking up where daddy left off. They have their own agenda. Who owns most of Haliiburton and Brown & Root? They have all the civilian contracts overseas. It is all about possession and oil, and the Bush and Skull & Bones clan is behind it. Try a Google search for "Skull & Bones" or "Illumanati" truly enlightening. People should read the Declaration of Indepencence again, as well as The US Consitution. What our country is now, is not what it was based on. IMPEACH BUSH!

I agree with some of the answers, war in Iraq is not about Religion, it's not about Christian against Muslim it's all about Politics, Economy and MONEY. The idea of fighting radikal Muslim bombers who used women and children as human shields is just a pathetic excuses to justify this action.
