i think the best thing you can do is be yourself and try and get into the community of the city where you live. i am italian and have friends from iraq that live in italy and believe me isolating yourself is not the best choice. so take it easy and try to interact with people. i'm sorry i dot know how to help you since i dont know anything about you...

Learn Italian, treat your family with respect, work hard and maybe you will be happy in Italy.
