For some it was worth it, for others not. For the ones who are so fond of murder, death, destruction, bombing and shooting others, they're having a good old time. For the decent Iraqis, it's not so pleasant. I'm sure that there are those who long for the "good old days" under Saddam---when they could walk down the street without fear of getting shot or blown up. Just arrested, held without due process and executed--if they were on the wrong side of the regime. At least they previously had some degree of security--perhaps too much so, to be fair.

Nope. Haven't been to Iraq. I live in the RP. As for perspectives, I don't think it was a wise idea to be fighting in Iraq. The government views the war as a threat to it's economic assets and should be won. But the lives of the men lost in the war does not equal the economic benefits that their country will gain.
