Under saddam it was a lot more peaceful. For Sunnis under the regime, it was paradise.

Yeah, depends on if I'm Sunni or Shi'a (or other). Also, we have yet to see how post-Saddam Iraq shapes up. Things could get pretty bad, conceivably.

If I was a Kurd, Irag today...then I wouldn't have to worry about my whole village being gassed because someone protested
