To The Americans Regarding The War with Iraq: Do You Live In Fear

To The Americans Regarding The War with Iraq: Do You Live In Fear?
I am German [Pure aryan as some would call me] and I am VERY proud to live in America. I live in Texas though and it sucks here, but other than that i am happy to live in this country. Anyways, according to recent studies & statistics - America is loosing the war with Iraq big time. Does it scare anyone else for the fact that such an undeveloped country [compared to the US] is beating us in a war? I mean, Im shudder to think what would have happened if we had to go up against a larger more high tech/prepared/populated/developed country. I put my heritage in there because i didnt want someone to think that im from iraq & trying to rile up trouble.

I'm more scared of a government that is quickly turning tyrannical than of the "terrorists" in Iraq. And they ain't beating us; their government fell in about two weeks, with only ~100 American casualties. It's the citizens that are fighting. How hard would you fight if Canada invaded America (please, don't laugh).

I'm more afraid of ALL our elected officials and I am looking forward to a change. Things can really only get better from here, I hope.

You don't get it. We are not losing a military war with them. That was over in very short order. What we are losing is our attempt to make that country the way we want it to be.

If we would quit playing nice we might win.

This is not a true war. A war is an armed conflict between nations. We are not fighting the ntion of Iraq. If fact, we're spending billions building them up. War against terrorism is like all the other non-wars, war against poverty, war against drugs, etc.

I believe Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid are very pleased to lose any war.

What bearing does you being a "Pure aryan" have to do with anything? I'm not in the least worried about the losing situation in Iraq. They're spending more time killing each other than they are trying to kill us. If our goal was to flatten the place we could simply have bombed it--not that I am at all in favor of such a thing, I think we shouldn't have been there in the first place. We're trying to occupy a country full of people who hate each other and us. Besides, according to the President, the war gas been over for several years now. "Mission Accomplished" and all that...

We do not live in fear. For most of us, the war is not our concern. Only the Bush oil people who want the oil supply to last and be under their control are concerned. They want to continue to steal from the people to pay high gas prices when we could be using water instead of oil for fuel. In 1965 I saw the new military vehicle that used water for fuel. It was taken away from us and all trace covered up. The link below is about water for fuel. About 4 ounces are required to power a vehicle for 100 miles. This is a FOX News clip or video.

I have a great sence of resolve not fear, After 911 I was not afraid I was Pissed off beyond what I've ever been, more then I can put to words. The pissed off turnned to resolve, The reason we are fighting now is because in the past teh US has entered conflict after the alies were on the verge of defeat. Japan had a free rain of the entire Pacific, Nazi/Itallian had the atlantic and almost all of europe. The idea now is stop aggression before it gets too big to handel. What would have happeded if pac fleet had stopped jappan in 37 when they invaded milasia and china? there would have been No Midway Coral sea Khalkin-Gol Guadalcanal Okinawa Saipan Leyte Gulf Buogainville a small air strip sized pice of realestate Guam and ther would be no Day which lives in infermy... Dec 7 the would just have been another day, there would be no USS Aarazona BB-39 memorial there would be no 2500 service men kiled just weeks becore christmas... there would be no 52 subs on patrole untill eternaty.... I can go on and on of the reasons why I support the men and woman or our armed services. They have defended our rights for over 400 years now (1776)....

The war in Iraq doesn't make me live in fear; ok so statistics aren't always good coming out of Iraq, but I don't think we are really "losing", but we aren't exactly winning either. First off, what larger, more high tech/developed country would we go to war with? We do have allies, even if they aren't with us on the Iraq stuff, they're still our allies. By the way, why do you think Texas sucks? Too hot?
